Fernando's 2020 Xmas Special is double a-sided festive rock and roll fantasy by Ferro Solo. It features two tracks, 'Custom Made to Hurt Me' and 'Irresistible', which are both coming from the 'Almost Mine Pts. 1 & 2' sessions but did not make the final track listing of the album(s). However, the fact that these songs have been left out from the records has nothing to do with their intrinsic quality, at least to my ears: it's just that other tunes were already covering the same moments of the Fernando story and/or were fitting the flow of the albums more seamlessly. Morevoer, I like the running time of albums to be around 36 minutes tops, so that the sound will be great on vinyl and the LP will not overstay its welcome for the listeners. Maybe some of these lost tracks will end up in another chapter of this saga? Who knows? For now, please enjoy this humble Xmas gift from me. I hope these songs will make you feel less 'Solo' during the Xmas period and will lead you happily unto the new year!
